Every time we get in the car, I hand him the electric razor and ask him to shave. He brushes his teeth when he showers which is twice a week. The other days whenever I think to tell him. He’ll do it if he’s in the bathroom but not if I ask him to get up and brush his teeth. My husband has been wearing Depends for about a year now so those have to be changed regularly. He uses a liner pad if we going out to eat or for a ride. Thankfully not dealing with fecal incontinence yet.
Highly recommend a product called Scrubzz for cleaning the private area between showers. I found out about it on this site. No rinse bathing wipes.

I’ve tried telling my husband that he doesn’t smell good. Or that if he doesn’t shower, he’ll get sores in his private area. And I’ve videotaped him with my phone telling me he will shower in one hour. Whatever works!

My Hubs eats all I put in front of him - so that’s good. I do miss the please & thank yous, but that is minor compared to so much other stuff! It’s like a 4yr old with ADD. Dammm disease!

I’m so sorry. I know that day is coming for us. And soon. Today I gave my husband a bowl of pineapple chunks and he asked what it was.
