I Have A Question. My Husband Falls All The Time. He Just Lowers His Head Eyes Go Back And He Falls Down. Almost Like Fainting.
Someone said it could be a drop seizeure. When he gets up he is fine. This happens multiple times a day.
Thank you
@A myALZteam Member and @A myALZteam Member -- this article should shed a little light on the situation. You'll see that Parkinson's disease is specifically mentioned.
However, if the eyes roll upward, it's not just fainting; that brings the episode into seizure territory.

my husband also has Alzheimer's and Parkinsonism. It seems his blood pressure drops and he gets dizzy. He fainted once when he was getting up from getting his hair cut. I continue to have him drink and that seems to help a little, but the episodes are concerning. Any ideas for prevention or in your experience does it just continue to happen?
My husband went thru that last year at least 8 times. He has Parkinson’s and Dementia also.
Thank you. He has Parkinson and Dementia.
