Anyone's Lo Experience Constipation With Seroquel/ Quidipine?
My husband takes seroquel but has only had an issue once. It was pretty traumatic, so he has been taking miralax daily since and we haven’t had any more issues.
Prune juice, dried prunes & Maralax & stool softeners work well
Prunes & Maralax& stool softeners in the morning & prune juice at night
@A myALZteam Member: No direct experience to report over here, but it becomes interesting to look at the FDA's information, from when Seroquel was approved, to see what happened during the drug's Clinical Trials. Interestingly, constipation was reported by 8% of the participants who actually received the drug, AND also by 3% of the participants who only got the placebo. So the net difference for the drug itself was 5%.

I don’t take that medication but every other of my pills cause that problem. I take milk of magnesia plus I know I need more fruit and vegetables and go for more walks.
My husband took Requip for years for restless leg and it worked. Last couple of years he hasn’t needed it. (Before MCI)
