Memory Care Survey- I Am Not Comfortable Answering. I Visit Daily, Never Any Other Visitors. My Answers Would Be Mostly Negative.
Memory loss, little hearing, no distance sight, will be 100 in Sept. I keep Aunt busy with puzzles, cards and visitors. Is on Hospice. She enjoys food. Possible outing and bingo. No others activities work for her. She is smarter than most working there! Aides not well trained and always rotating.
Not comfortable giving mostly negative responses on survey for fear of retaliation!
Skip the survey, if you’re not comfortable answering, &/or if you have a reason to fear retaliation. There will be plenty of time for honest discussion and feedback after her journey is over.
And if there IS anything significant that does need to be addressed now, you can always reach out to the Ombudsman’s office. That’s what they’re there for.
Private facility and does not have oversight by Ombudsman because they do not accept Medicaid. My only option is to wait until she is no longer there and then speak to Quality Assurance at the State level.
