Hello Alzheimer is one of the best books with the most helpful hints and suggestions I have read. I wish I had come across it at least 4 years ago.
On Pluto by Greg O’Brien good. He is a career writer/author, who also has dementia and he is able to speak very clearly about the disease and how it is affecting him and his perception on it. I think understanding our loved ones experience from someone who can clearly communicate it is very helpful.
Agree: the 36 hour day is great. Check out your Public Library. Books esp., mine even has puzzles and other things you can do w/your loved one.
