Bob doesn’t have stiffness yet, but it is quite common in the later stages. Muscles begin to waste away and tendons and ligaments tighten. Doing range of motion can help prevent or slow this but since they aren’t moving on their own, it becomes problematic. Have you talked to your Dr about this?

Ed seems to do fine, he lies on his back in bed all the time, ever since his leg was amputated. Sorry I can't be of more help. I hope you are doing alright except for this, we haven't really talked for quite a while.

Parkinson's is actually one of the many forms of dementia, so might be a connection?

Our neurologist calls this stiffness”Parkinsonian” even tho my honey doesn’t have Parkinson’s. She prescribed Sinemet which has helped with his jerking and twitches.
