My Mother In Law Has Alzheimer’s, So Did Her Sister And Their Mother. Is It Or Not Hereditary?
Worried my husband may get it, his sister is preparing to have it.
Hi, Debra. We have a similar concern. If you search “familial Alzheimer’s” you will find plenty of information to consider. Regards, Steve.
I personally dont believe its hereditary but at the same time it doesn't mean a whole family wont get it. It's one of life's secrets until it's there.
I think it depends. There's a familial one with “early onset dementia” [lost 5 members of a family to our in my hometown].
However, just recently I read the usual dementias, including Alzheimer's, we're NOT. I was relieved!
Thanks, I am new here.
Is Dementia/Alzheimer's Hereditary? Should I Get Checked For Alzheimer's? Is There A Way To Get An Early Diagnosis?
