From What I Have Read There Is 7 Stages. My Husband Is At Stage 4 And Showing Some Of Stage 5. Does Anyone Know About Stages?

Cindy, This is the website of stages that I refer to to determine where my husband is sitting. I think he is stage 5 but already some behaviors / symptoms of stage 6.

Hi Cindy and welcome....hope the support and info are helpful. There are several medical descriptions of stages (most available online) so most folks either use info dr gave them or pick the way of describing that fits for them. I think your decision to move closer to daughter is wise....hubby will become more confused briefly but you need to be where you have support.

He was diagnosed in fall of 2015 but I knew he had a problems that was probably dementia quite a few years before that.

Thank you. Praying our plans to move come together smoothly and he does well there. We have spent quite a bit of time there with my daughter and her family and he seems to like it.
