Care Center
In U.S. are there facilities that take patients who only have Medicare as income?
Yes. There are several agencies in the U S accepting only Medicare. Just google nursing homes, assisted living facilities and independent living homes in whatever state in which you’re interested in residing. Be Blessed. Pat
Unless you have long term care insurance in the US it is all out of pocket until all their and your assets are drained. Then Medicaid takes over. But some of the better facilities don’t take Meficaid because of the low payments.
Is this for an Alzheimer’s patient? I would doubt that you could get any kind of long term care in a nursing home from Medicare. You’ll get 100 days after a hospitalization for an illness or an injury to a skilled nursing facility and medicare will only pay 100% for the first 20 days. Here’s a link to the medicare website that might help:

Yes, I have been going through this. Frustrating
How can you research. When everyone wants your phone #? I just want to see who has what to offer then call them direct not having a 3rd party call me. It is so frustrating as I don't want someone in another state calling me to find out what my mom needs then still having to sort through information. I want to research then call the place directly. But everything i type I n redirects me to some advising site
