I added mom to my cell phone plan (sprint) and would check whenever I thought she went out. My sisters also had access so they could check sporadically from work. She never went anywhere without her phone

I think some of the cell phone places actually have watches with GPS

Thanks, Hunter. There is a lot out there, they are just so bulky and often have short battery lives.

Lynn, is there something that she possibly could wear around her neck, similiar to the health alert devices for when people fall? Maybe call that service and maybe they have a GPS too. Just a thought.

Thanks, unfortunately my mom doesn't use her phone and she has gone out without a purse or anything at times.
