Getting mad doesn’t accomplish anything.let it go, it will only upset you more. Was he a drinker before Alz? Try and get to an Alanon meeting.

My husband had been quit smoking for almost 10 years and would only drink a beer once or twice a month. Now he smokes daily, sometimes a pack a day if he is upset and frustrated with himself because he can't do things he used too. He now drinks 1 to 3 quarts a week. The dr said that wasn't too bad if he keeps him from being angry and upset. My daughter keeps it at her house so he only gets one most of the time. I found that if he has money, he wants to spend it on beer and wants to go to the store. When he drinks one, he is usually having a bad headache. He usually goes to sleep and is better though tired when he wakes up. He will not remember any of it. I hope this helps. I don't know.what I would do if I was the one who was sick. We have to decide which battles are the hardest to deal with.
