Yes, he would be angry if he felt that I took too long running errands. I’ve almost forgotten what it is to just “shop.”

My hubby hasn't, but, my Pop did. It was before we knew he had Alz. He was jealous of a cleaner where my Mom had been in care center for Phys. Therapy. After she was home, he went into the bedroom and pointed a shotgun at her and said, I will shoot you right here!! That started a series of things going on. I live out of state but visited very, very often. Out of 3 kids I was the one they listened to and I was the baby. One Sunday I went down to visit, junk pick up next day. I went out and set the items on the curb. My Pop went off on me. Could not reason with him. Mom started telling me things that I hadn't heard before. I told her we needed to call Police because he was not calming or backing down. Told her they would get him help. They couldn't take him but advised Momma to stay somewhere else. We stayed at my brothers for 12 days. My brother got him to dr. the next day. They place him in a care center. That is when we found out it was Alz. Put on meds but did not calm him down. I went to psychiatrist with him a few wks. later. He prescribed Resperidone for him. It made the world of difference in him. This is a long story but I hope it helps someone.
