A month before I started a caregiver for my mom I took a picture of us with her. I put the picture in a frame and said this is our friend so and so. I kept referencing to it. When it came time it was no longer stranger danger

When I needed a sitter because my husband was no longer safe at home alone, I told him the sitter was there to keep him company and to fix his lunch. He accepted that and his last sitter became like a friend of the family.
