There are a lot of podcasts about dementia and caregiving. Look for an episode that addresses the burdens of caregiving. Send the link to your family with a note: "Please listen to this. It might help you understand what I'm going through."
My two out of state daughters take family leave from teaching to each spend a week with us every once in a while. That gives me time away, time to sleep, time to lunch with friends
