My Mom Has Alzheimer’s And Is 80 Wasn’t Sure If Correct Decision To Have Colonoscopy Done. She Had Bathroom Issues In August But None Now.

My 89 year old mother had one last year, but that was due to gastric bleeding. I don’t think she had one since her 70s before that. The prep really confused her since she didn’t want to drink it. Never would have done it if she wasn’t losing so much blood.

At 80 that is a rough test and most say even us healthy should not do, I turned 80 last fall. I noticed when my husband ate too many sweets or Chocolate , accidents happened. He was in memory care so I don’t know if other food did it also., They do eventually lose control with this horrible disease
