As My Husband Loses His Mobility, Where Do I Find Information About Getting A Vehicle That Will Meet His Needs?
My husband is a 100% disabled veteran, diagnosed in 2018 with early onset Alzheimer's dementia. He has become non-verbal, and is losing both fine motor and gross motor function. His doctor does not expect him to be ambulatory in 6 months.
The VA may be able to help you. Is his dementia service connected. Was he exposed to any toxic materials during his service? As someone else mentioned, I would also try sevice organizations.
Hope you find the help you need.
Is your huband seen in a VA facility?
Thank you for your suggestions, and prayers.
I would check with the DAV, and Veterans Admin they may be able to get you to someone who could help. Best of luck and prayers for good results
I tried the VA but they said the time he served in the 60’s he isn’t able to get help.
