Any Tips For Traveling?
My husband is in relatively early stages and hoping to do some trips we have always wanted to. We have a camper that we tow, staying a new place each night. I wonder if this is too demanding?
Go for it, while you can. If you're the one doing the driving and setting up at campsites, it shouldn't be a problem...but if he's the one who does these things, then it's time to learn how to do it all. Keep a very watchful eye on the situation -- especially in regard to driving skills, which can put both of you (and all of your assets) at risk. It's common for people to think their driving skills are much better than they actually are, especially if they've had a good driving record in the past.
Hi Kim, We had a house in Florida for a long time near my son for winters. In the early stages we could still travel. We mostly drove there and stayed at hotels. Later on, it was not possilbe. She would wake up at night in terror not knowing where she was. Kicking, hitting and screaming. I would calm her but it was time to stop traveling. I sold the Florida house shortly after. You will know when it is time. Enjoy every minute you can.

I would say go for it too. We took my dad on two trips last year. He loved it. I had hoped to take him somewhere this year. But with losing my job, money is very tight!
