I just go into his world when he sees the people working in the trees. I ask him if they are doing good job.

Rest seems to be the only thing that helps my Mom with hearing and seeing things.

That’s difficult when they believe they are in danger and want to call the police. My husband often wants to call the police also. He thinks he is being kept in our home against his will and will ask his reflection in the mirror to call the police. He wants to go home but home to him is his childhood home. I know it’s hard but I just try and distract him and ride it out. Wish I had a better solution to help.

My husband said he saw his brother in the trees out behind our house, for the first time on Sunday. I couldn’t see what he was looking at. He thinks he talks to his Mother and Father. Who have passed away in 1996. Hugs

I have been dealing with that with my mom and I just try to be interested and let her say what she needs to about it and try to change the subject. But I’ll be darned if she doesn’t remember it -come back to it-hours or days later. The brain is a strange organ !
