Tom sleeps most of the day and night at this time. I know when he is sleeping that he is not confused and all is right with his world. I am thankful for that time for him. He does not have to struggle when he is sleeping.

My Mum actually sleeps after breakfast until I wake her for lunch and then back asleep until 5. In bed at 9 and up at 8. But then she will have a day where she is quite alert and requires no naps. It really makes it difficult to plan ahead.

My husband takes streaks where he will sleep 10 to 12 hours straight. Than he will sleep during the day also. He usually would sleep from 11 at night until 7 in the morning. He always falls asleep several times a day. The doctor said that they go through stages like that and will continually get longer.

My husband was diagnosed 5 years ago. There are some days when he sleeps almost all day and most of the night. What does that indicate. I can tell he is declining. But he is less disagreeable than he once was.
