My respite last year was in July and laser 5 das.It was set up through hospice and essentially is a break from care giving. It was heaven for me. I went and visited family out of state, and my spouse was taken care of in a residential home and we treated it as separate vacations. I was told that it was available 3 to 4 times a year, but my next one was pushed back almost six months. By then it was time for me to put him in assisted living permanently. He is in a good safe environment, and I am healing also.
