PS no bad effects. He's been on it for about 1 1/2 years so far.

Works for my husband. Hard on the kidneys tho if given in large doses. Does calm him down at night tho.

I take the generic, Citalopram, and have had no problems.

It a antidepressant. Never heard of any side effects. Mom is on Zoloft. It's the same type of drug.
