You. Ask them. What you think you are going. Through. Wait for their answers. What I did. I brought words search. Books. And memory games books. You need to understand. No one wants to admit to this horrible. Disease. Put your self in their place. And think. What will help you to accept. This horrible. Thing and what you would like someone to do for you. I know it's hard.

I like Barbara’s advice. I also don’t try to explain to my husband that he has Alzheimers or dementia. I only say his memory isn’t as good as it used to be.
The one time when I used to think he needed to know I used the word Dementia and he got so upset because to him that implied crazy.
